Wound Care Boot CampAdvanced Modalities Part II: Adjunctive Modalities(1.00 CME Credits / 1.00 CEU Credits)
This course is designed for physicians, fellows, mid-level practitioners, nurses and other allied health professionals who are involved in the care of patients with acute and chronic wounds.
This session will introduce the concept of adjunctive modalities and discuss developments in this area related to the clinical practice of wound care. The participant will gain an understanding of a comprehensive wound care program, how and when advanced technologies should be incorporated into the plan of care. A brief discussion of how these innovations can be applied alone and in combination with other wound care regimens to improve wound healing outcomes will be presented.
