Speaker's Statement
"As our collective populations age, exhibiting the ultimate complications of many chronic medical conditions, we need to be vigilant in preparing ourselves to meet demanding wound care situations.  It is difficult to stay abreast of all the cutting edge information generated in immunology, physiology, biochemistry and genetics and to master the application of that knowledge to serve the complex medical and surgical needs of our patients.  Further complicating our task is the real world problem of limited resources and adverse health economics.  Hopefully, providing easily accessed, well-prepared, focused, timely medical information in a web-based format will simplify the challenge."
